The Chow Chow is an ancient breed which has been speculated to originate from China some 2,000 years ago. It is an all-purpose dog and presents the picture of a muscular, deep-chested aristocrat with an air of inscrutable timeliness. Dignified, serious-minded and aloof, the Chow Chow is a breed of unique delights.
Height & Weight: Can reach up to 17 to 20 inches in height and 20.41 to 31.75 kilograms of weight. They have a tendency to be overweight.
Personality traits: Aloof, independent, stubborn, fiercely protective of their families, devoted, suspicious of strangers and can be aggressive with other dogs.

Health: The Chow Chow can suffer from Hip dysplasia, Entropion, Brachycephalic syndrome, Gastric dilatation-volvulus
