The Beagle is a breed of small hound developed in England as a scenthound and hunting dog to track small prey such as rabbits. Small, compact and hardy, Beagles are active companions for kids and adults. They are merry and fun loving, but being hounds, they can also be stubborn and require patient and creative training techniques.
