It is not uncommon now to hear of countries announcing a complete or partial shut down of business activities in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi recently announced a 21 day lock down in the state, with the exception of essential services. Well, here is an unusual isolation story.
Necessity they say is the mother of invention 😊. In Mexico, a man named Antonio Munoz, attached a note and some money to his pet Chihuahua’s collar and sent her to the store across the street to buy Cheetos! The note in Spanish read, “Hello Mr. Shopkeeper, please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they are too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbour”
And guess what, She came through! People couldn’t believe that the dog actually bought the food. There were lots of reactions on Twitter.
Note to self: What are you planning to do during the lock down. You may as well learn a new skill or better still, teach your dog how to run errands ☺.
